Sofia Medical University is the most prestigious Bulgarian medical university

The Ministry of Education and Science of Bulgaria presented the annual ranking of the Bulgarian universities. In this educational classification, Sofia Medical University is the leader among the Bulgarian Medical Schools. It’s № 1 in each of the five areas in which the students undergo training: medicine, dental medicine, pharmacy, health care and public health.

According to the information provided by the Ministry, the number of students willing to study medicine and other medical specialties is increasing.

The rating system involved 51 Bulgarian universities and included 74 indicators for measuring the quality of education. These were divided in several groups, such as learning process, research, academic environment, social life and administrative services, prestige and realization, and connection with the market.
